1. What This Website Is

This is an independent private reference site, not a government service. We do not keep official criminal files, retrieve records on a visitor's behalf, conduct an official background check, or submit documents for anyone.

Our role is to identify the agencies and systems that maintain Allendale County criminal records. Those sources include local law enforcement, South Carolina courts, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), Criminal Justice Information Services, and the South Carolina Sex Offender Registry. We may also connect visitors to outside research tools. Public-body records are subject to rules such as the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act, Title 30, Chapter 4, but that law does not make this private site an official custodian.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of use, you agree not to:

• Use a bot, scraper, or other automated process against the pages
• Interfere with performance or prevent another person from using the site
• Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or restricted area
• Use information to stalk, threaten, or harass another person
• Rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions
• Violate any applicable federal, South Carolina, or local law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use information found here or through a linked tool to intimidate, stalk, threaten, harass, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may also violate the law. South Carolina places particular limits on misuse of South Carolina Sex Offender Registry information under S.C. Code Title 23, Chapter 3, and unlawful action against a registrant can carry criminal consequences. Registry access supports public safety awareness. It does not permit vigilantism, employment blacklisting, or housing discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency as the FCRA defines that term. Neither we nor our advertising partners produce consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks. The available services are not designed to evaluate job applicants, rental applications, insurance rates, or creditworthiness. You must not use information from this site or a linked tool to:

• Perform any other activity governed by the FCRA
• Determine eligibility for a permit, license, or government benefit
• Set an insurance premium or assess creditworthiness
• Evaluate a rental or housing applicant
• Make a hiring or firing decision

When a background check is required for a regulated purpose, use the appropriate official South Carolina process or a screening provider that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is general information, not legal advice. Although it describes record systems in Allendale County, it cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, or expungement provision applies to an individual matter. South Carolina expungement routes are governed in part by S.C. Code Title 17, Chapter 22. Ask a licensed South Carolina attorney for advice about your circumstances.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are supplied "as is." We make no promise that:

• A partner's search results will be accurate or complete
• The pages contain no bug, error, or security weakness
• The service will remain available without interruption
• Any information is complete, current, or accurate at a particular time

Criminal-record status can change when charges are filed, dismissed, sealed, or expunged. Even careful updates cannot eliminate every delay or gap. Treat no site content as an official statement by a court, law-enforcement agency, or other government body.

Links may lead to court portals, law-enforcement and state agency pages, legal-aid organizations, or outside search services. We do not control those destinations. We are not responsible for their availability, content, charges, or data practices. Review the destination's terms before using it.

8. Intellectual Property

Allendale County Criminal History or its content partners own the text, code, logos, and graphics presented here. You may not modify, distribute, reproduce, or create derivative material from that content without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for damages arising from use of this site, including a decision based on information obtained here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against a demand, claim, or legal proceeding caused by your use of the site or violation of these terms. This obligation includes related costs and legal fees.

11. Governing Law

South Carolina law governs these terms. Any dispute arising from site use must be brought in a court located within South Carolina.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these conditions at any time. A new version becomes effective when it is posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be modified only to the extent needed to make it enforceable.
